JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A new study from the University of North Florida says the inaugural Florida County Superfest last month brought in $23 million to the city. The study was conducted by a team from UNF and funded by Visit Jacksonville.

More than 27,400 tickets (64 percent) of the 75,000 sold were sold outside Jacksonville, according to the study.

The study surveyed 412 attendees to develop a demographic and economic profile of visitors to the event.

The research also states that 88 percent of the out of town visitors said they were "very or somewhat likely" to visit Jacksonville again.
