JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Vice Squad arrested Thomas E. O'Donnell of Indiatlantic, FL near the StarDancer IV Thursday morning as it was docked off Adams Street in the Talleyrand area.

The Jacksonville State Attorney's Office started investigating after it received complaints of illegal gambling aboard the vessel.

StarDancer IV is associated with Coin Castle Casinos. Coin Castle advertised on an Internet website and on local radio it would be holding a Texas Hold'em poker tournament with a grand prize of $20,000 during Super Bowl week.

Operating a gambling house and operating a card room are both third degree felonies. The crimes carry a maximum punishment of five years in prison.

After the arrest, the U.S. Coast Guard and local law enforcement boarded the StarDancer IV to conduct operational and safety inspections.
