COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - The Atlantic Coast Conference isn't a one-horse race after all.
The end of No. 11 Clemson's undefeated season last Saturday night tightened things up in both the Atlantic and Coastal Divisions - and left the door open for several teams to make a run at the title during the season's final month.
The Tigers (8-1, 5-1 ACC) are still in the Atlantic Division driver's seat despite their 31-17 loss at No. 22 Georgia Tech Saturday.
Clemson can clinch a spot in the championship game with a win over Wake Forest (5-3, 4-2) on Nov. 11. The Demon Deacons will be looking for their first win at Death Valley since 1998.
The Coastal could be settled Nov. 10 when No. 12 Virginia Tech (8-1, 4-1) plays at Georgia Tech (7-2, 4-2).
