Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Brendan Gallagher scored the game winner with
just under eight minutes left in the third, as the Montreal Canadiens used a
three-goal final frame to post a 4-3 triumph over the Tampa Bay Lightning on
Saturday at Tampa Bay Times Forum.
Brian Gionta added a goal and an assist, while Tomas Plekanec and Alexei
Emelin each scored once for the Canadiens, who have won two straight to
improve to 3-1 on a five-game road trip.
Carey Price posted 20 saves in the victory.
Steven Stamkos scored his league-leading 19th goal of the season to go with an
assist, while Sami Salo and Ryan Malone also lit the lamp in the setback,
Tampa Bay's second in a row and seventh in its last eight games.
Cedrick Desjardins allowed all four goals on 29 shots in defeat.
