Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Timberwolves signed forward
Mickael Gelabale and center Chris Johnson to 10-day contracts on Saturday.
The 29-year-old Gelabale returns to the NBA after playing in Croatia and
Spain this season.
Selected by Seattle in the second round of the 2005 NBA Draft, Gelabale
averaged 4.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 109 games with the SuperSonics from
2006-08.
The 6-foot-7 Frenchman has also played professionally in France, Belgium and
Russia.
Johnson, 27, averaged 10.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 14 games this season
with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA D-League.
