Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Jack Hannahan came through with a game-tying
two-run single in the top of the ninth inning, and Xavier Paul followed with a
go-ahead sacrifice fly that rallied the Cincinnati Reds to a 6-5 win over the
Los Angeles Dodgers in a Cactus League clash.
Ryan Ludwick, Todd Frazier and Jay Bruce all had RBI singles earlier on for
Cincinnati. Reds starter Mike Leake worked the first five innings, permitting
four runs on a pair of homers by the Dodgers' Luis Cruz.
Cruz belted a three-run blast in the bottom of the first and added a solo shot
in the fourth.
Clayton Kershaw struck out eight over a six-inning stint for Los Angeles, with
the ace lefty being reached for three runs -- two earned -- on four hits.
