Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - Lucas Duda went 3-for-3 with two RBI and
a run scored to give the New York Mets a 9-6 win over the Houston Astros in
spring training action.
John Buck drove in two runs while Ike Davis was 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run
scored for the Mets, who had 12 hits in the game. Jeremy Hefner gave up just
one hit and one walk with two strikeouts over three innings in the start.
Carlos Pena hit a two-run home run while Nate Freiman drove in a pair for the
Astros, who got two hits and a run scored from Delino DeShields. Alex White
gave up four runs on five hits with a walk and two strikeouts over 2 2/3
innings.
