Tim Tebow on Kaepernick's protest: 'It's all about standing for it the right way'

Tim Tebow is one the latest celebrities to chime in on the highly-debated Kaepernick protest.

According to USA TODAY, Colin Kaepernick revealed that he had been getting death threats through "a couple different avenues, for his decision to protest the 'The Star-Spangled Banner.'

Amid his national anthem protest, the quarterback said he didn't alert team security and he's "not too concerned about it."

“When people have belief in something, or a conviction in something, trying to stand for that is a good thing,” Tebow said to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale after his second day of practice in the New York Mets organization. “It’s all about standing for it the right way.”
