Jaguars Week 6 inactives: Gipson ready to play against the Bears, Jacksonville missing returners

Jaguars starting free safety Tashaun Gipson will play against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Gipson's status came into question when he was downgraded on the injury report on Saturday. Gipson's knee injury kept him out of practice on Wednesday and limited him on Thursday. The team clearly felt he suffered a setback before the squad headed to Chicago but he will be available against the Bears.

The same can't be said for punt returner Rashad Greene (Achilles) and kick returner Corey Grant (toe). Losing both returners will force the Jaguars make a switch on special teams. Wide receivers Bryan Walters and Marqise Lee and running back Denard Robinson have experience at the return spots.

Below is the full inactive list for the Jaguars:

- DE Chris Smith

- CB Josh Johnson

- QB Brandon Allen

- RB Corey Grant

- WR Rashad Greene

- TE Neal Sterling

- OT Bryce Harris
