Jaguars to play Bucs, Bears, Lions & Falcons in preseason

The Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday announced components of its preseason schedule.

The Jaguars will open up the 2014 preseason at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to a release from the Jaguars, the game is expected to be played the week of August 7-10.

The Jaguars will visit Chicago on Thursday, August 14 for a nationally televised 8 p.m. game that will air on ESPN.

According to the release, the dates and kickoff times of the other games are yet to be determined, but the Jaguars will play the Detroit Lions on the road in the third week of the preseason and host the Atlanta Falcons for the last preseason game, which will be played at home. The final preseason game will likely be played on or around August 28.
