Jaguars sign veteran offensive lineman to active roster

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After losing Luke Joeckel to a knee injury on Sunday, the Jaguars needed to add another body to the offensive line group. On Wednesday, the team signed a veteran lineman with 35 games of NFL experience.

The team signed offensive tackle Bryce Harris to a contract after placing Joeckel on injured reserve on Tuesday.

Harris was an undrafted free agent signing of the Atlanta Falcons in in 2012. After being waived during final cuts as a rookie, Harris was picked up by the New Orleans Saints. Harris played in 34 games (four starts) for the Saints from 2012-2014. He was let go last season and signed with the Falcons. He played in just one game for Atlanta.

The Falcons released Harris during final cuts this offseason.
