The veteran lineman appeared in 10 games (seven starts) for the Jaguars last season. He filled in for Luke Joeckel at left guard after the starter went down with a knee injury.

Omameh eventually suffered a season-ending foot injury in November.

Omameh is entering his fifth NFL season. He previously played for the Tampa Buccaneers and Chicago Bears. He has appeared in 40 games (32 starts) in his NFL career.

The terms of the deal were not released.

Omameh is the third offensive lineman to re-sign with the Jaguars this offseason. The team handed out deals to Tyler Shatley and Josh Wells in February.
