The Jaguars started to put together the team's practice squad on Sunday, less than 24 hours after crafting the franchise's initial 53-man roster for Week 1.
The team added defensive tackle Richard Ash, linebacker Sean Porter, cornerback Nick Marshall, offensive tackle Rashod Hill and wide receivers Rashad Lawrence, Shaq Evans and Shane Wynn to the practice roster after they cleared waivers at noon.
Marshall and Ash highlight the group, as standouts of the offseason that failed to make the team's active roster. Both played in games for the Jaguars last season as undrafted rookies.
The practice squad is now at seven players, with three spots remaining on the 10-man limit.
