JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Jack Del Rio told the media in his final press conference of the season that he was "proud, but not satisfied," about this football season and reiterated his goal of wanting to win a world championship.

To do that he'll have to figure out how to beat the Patriots and Colts. The Jaguars are a combined 1-8 against those two the last three years. "We need to win the division, and host a playoff game," said Del Rio. "Certainly the odds of succeeding in the post season go up when you are at home."

The Jags seemed to take steps this season, especially on the offensive side of the ball. The Jaguars scored a club record 50 touchdowns and set a record for most points in franchise history.

Next up for the football team, signing their quarterback to a long term deal.

"We have found our franchise quarterback," said Del Rio.

David Garrard set club records for fewest interceptions and had the highest quarterback rating ever as well. The Jaguars are well positioned in terms of the salary cap. They have plenty of money to spend on Garrard and to chase after free agents.

Speaking of free agents, names like Quinn Gray, Greg Jones, Terry Cousin and Paul Spicer are all eligible to leave the team. Changes are inevitable in the NFL and this team will be no different.
