Jaguars Sign Tight End Richard Angulo

JACKSONVILLE, FL (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran free agent tight end Richard Angulo to a contract, and waived rookie tight end Dan Murray. Murray was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Connecticut in April.

Angulo spent the final five weeks of the 2006 season on the practice squad with the Chicago Bears after signing on November 28th. The 6-foot-8, 283-pounder was originally drafted by St. Louis in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL Draft out of Western New Mexico.

Angulo played in six games as a rookie in 2003 before being placed on injured reserve for all of 2004 with a pre-season injury. He was with Minnesota in 2005 and caught one pass for eleven yards in two games.
