JACKSONVILLE-- Longtime Ed White High School football coach Dan Disch will be leaving the westside school to become the defensive backs coach at the University of Florida. He?ll join Ron Zook?s staff in Gainesville.
Disch has been one of the most successful high school coaches in Jacksonville in the last decade, leading his team to numerous playoff appearances. He will be coaching two of his former players from Ed White when he goes to Florida. Former Commanders Dee Webb and Dawayne Grace are defensive backs at Florida.
