Oxford, MS (Sports Network) - Ole Miss scored 24 unanswered points in the
second half to beat No. 25 Mississippi State, 41-24, on Saturday in the Egg
Bowl.
Bo Wallace was 15-for-22 passing for 294 yards and a career-high five
touchdown passes and Donte Moncrief had seven catches for 173 yards and three
touchdowns for the Rebels (6-6, 3-5 SEC), who are bowl eligible for the first
time since 2009.
Tyler Russell completed 18-of-33 passes for 268 yards, one touchdown and two
interceptions and Chad Bumphis caught six passes for 146 yards and two
touchdowns for the Bulldogs (8-4, 4-4), who have dropped four of their last
five after opening the season with seven consecutive wins.
