Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Angel Rodriguez sank the game-winning free
throws with five seconds left in regulation and Sam Grooms missed a
desperation three at the buzzer, as No. 18 Kansas State edged Oklahoma, 52-50,
on Saturday.
Will Spralding scored 12 points and Martavious Irving added 10 points off the
bench for Kansas State (17-4, 6-2 Big 12), which was coming off a win against
Texas on Wednesday.
Romero Osby had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Sooners (14-6, 5-3), who
have lost three of their past five games.
