San Marcos, TX (Sports Network) - Cordarius Johnson scored 17 points as he

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs to an 84-67 win over the Texas State Bobcats
in Western Athletic Conference play at Strahan Coliseum.

LaTech scored the first points of the night and never looked back, building a
38-21 lead at the break based on a defensive effort that held the Bobcats to a
mere 29.4 percent shooting from the floor, including 1-of-6 beyond the arc.
In the second half Texas State erupted for 60.7 percent accuracy from the
field and 7-of-13 out on the perimeter, but it proved to be too little, too
late in the 17-point decision.
The Bulldogs finished the night shooting 42.7 percent from the floor and
easily won the rebounding battle by a 54-32 margin.
