range en route to a game-high 25 points and ripped down 10 rebounds as No. 5
Michigan thumped Slippery Rock, 100-62, in the season-opener on Friday at
Crisler Center.
Trey Burke scored 21 points and handed out eight assists while Glen Robinson
III contributed 10 points and eight boards for the Wolverines (1-0), who lost
in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
Devin Taylor put home a team-high 14 points and nine rebounds, while Luiz
Santos finished with 12 points and Darious Clark added 11 points in the loss
for Slippery Rock, who finished 17-10 last season and earned a berth in the
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament for the third time in four
years.
The game marked the final exhibition tuneup for the Division-II side, which
will open its regular season campaign against Ohio Valley University on Nov.
