Jaguars fall in final minutes to Chicago Bears

The Jacksonville Jaguars fell to the Chicago Bears thanks to a touchdown in the waning minutes of Thursday's game.

Despite holding a lead going into the fourth quarter, the Jags fall 20-19.

Blake Bortles had a strong showing going 11 for 17 with 160 yards. He saw significant minutes in the first and second halves.

Josh Scobee booted three field goals on three attempts to go along with a Marqise Lee touchdown to give the Jacksonville Jaguars a 16-7 halftime lead.

A four-yard touchdown catch by Brandon Marshall from the arm of Jay Cutler was the only first half score for the Bears.

Running back Toby Gerhart got some playing time and had 6 carries for 19 yards, 18 of which came on one run.

Chad Henne had some impressive numbers in the opening quarters. The first-string QB completed 12/17 passes for 130 yards including the six-yard TD pass to Lee.

The Jags stretched the lead to 19-7 after a fourth field goal by Scobee, but a Senorise Perry 5 yard touchdown run with about 1:30 left in the game sealed the Jags fate.

Jaguars are now 1-1 in preseason games.
