JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed defensive back Michael Coe from the New York Giants' practice squad to their active roster. The team also added running back Allen Patrick to the practice squad.

Coe could play Sunday at San Francisco, since the Jaguars (6-4) will be without starter Rashean Mathis again because of a groin injury.

A fifth-round draft pick by Indianapolis in 2007, Coe played in six games as a rookie. He spent last season on injured reserve and was waived/injured in late August. He was signed by the Giants two weeks later and spent 10 weeks on their practice squad.

Patrick, a seventh-round pick by Baltimore in 2008, has spent time with the Ravens, Cleveland and the Giants. New York waived him from the practice squad in September.
