Team Teal Hosting Jacksonville Jaguars Fan Kickoff Event Monday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown will join Team Teal Commissioner Tony Boselli and Jaguars Head Coach Mike Mularkey as they kick off the 2012 Team Teal Season.

Leading Team Teal since its inception, Commissioner Boselli is expected to make an important announcement during the Feb. 13 kickoff rally, according to a release.

In addition to Boselli, Mularkey and Mayor Brown; members of the ROAR of the Jaguars will also be helping fans to get ready for the 2012 NFL season.

The cheerleaders will be joined by Jaguars alumni who will be signing autographs.

 The main goal of Team Teal is to encourage new season ticket sales.  In exchange for purchasing the tickets Jaguars fans receive an opportunity to win prizes.

The festivities will take place at EverBank Field in the West Touchdown Club.  Gates open at 5 p.m.  The first item on the agenda is a behind the scenes self-guided tour of the Jaguars facilities, including a visit to the weight room and locker room.

The actual program begins at 6:30.

Fans attending the Team Teal Kickoff can park for free in Lots J, M and N and should plan to enter on the west side of the stadium.
