Providence football gear up for the season with a new head coach

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Former Jaguars linebacker Jeff Kopp accepted the Stallions head coaching position in January of this year. Kopp is a familiar face within the program, having been at the school four years.

Kopp has been charged to help a team that only won six games last season with an appearance in the Class 3A state playoffs. Kopp's first order of business --- changing the culture.

"One it was to establish a culture and really implement it and say hey this is who Providence football is," Kopp says.

He went on to say, "two was to get all the kids that had stopped playing football over the last few years and get them to come back out and three was to bring the fun back to football."
