Johnson brothers earn scholarship offers at a young age

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Football players are being offered college scholarships earlier than ever.

First Coast High School quarterback De'Andre Johnson received his first offer (from Clemson) during his freshman season. He verbally committed to Florida State in the summer between his freshman and sophomore years. He'll be a senior in the fall and plans to graduate from high school in December so he can enroll at FSU in time for the spring semester.

De'Andre's younger brother Tyreke Johnson is a defensive back at Trinity Christian Academy. He's currently in the 8th grade, and he's already got 12 scholarship offers that include: Florida State, Miami, LSU, Tennessee, and UCLA. He got his first offers during the spring of his 7th grade year when Vanderbilt and Florida Atlantic offered.

First Coast Sports recently caught up with these talented siblings while they were training at SET Performance.
