First Coast football is loaded with blue chip talent

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The First Coast High School football team is loaded with blue chip talent, once again. Several Buccaneers have Division-I scholarship offers, including quarterback DeAndre Johnson who is verbally committed to FSU. Wide receiver Tristan Payton is committed to the USC Trojans, while offensive tackle William Sweet is heading to North Carolina.

The senior class is hoping to continue the squad's winning tradition. The public school powerhouse has won the Gateway Conference Championship in each of the last four years.

The Buccaneers were (10-1) last season.

Coach Marty Lee understands his team has a bulls-eye on its back. Yulee hosts First Coast in a kickoff classic on August 22nd. The first regular season home game is against Raines on September 12.
