Bolles aims for 4th straight state title game appearance

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Bolles School football program has a rich tradition. The Bulldogs have won 11 state championships. 10 of those have been under the leadership of the winningest high school football coach ever in Florida, Corky Rogers.

3 years ago, Bolles pulled off an upset win over Miami Booker T. Washington High School in the state title game. However, the Tornadoes have gotten the best of the Bulldogs in the last two state title games.

This year's team has the potential to reach the state title game for the fourth consecutive year. Quarterback Joe Edden, tight end Kevin Ackerman, safety Trenton McGhee, offensive tackle Jeremiah Theus, and running backs Dexter Carter Jr. and Christian Bermudez are among the key returning players for the Bulldogs.
