Bishop Synder ready for 2014 football season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Bishop Synder Cardinals are preparing for their regular season opener against Duval Charter at home August 29th at 7 p.m.

The Cardinals are returning 18 starters from a team that went 10-1 in 2013 and won the Westside Pride Bowl.

The strength of the Cardinals team can be found along that big and experienced offensive led by 6'8 Matthew Tanner.

Tanner will be responsible for protecting an inexperienced quarterback now that Nate Morales has taken his talents to college.

Also the Cardinals Head Coach Brian "Jake" McCrae is doing well after having one of his kidneys removed after doctors found a cancerous mass on it.
