Chonburi, Thailand (Sports Network) - Karrie Webb was six-under par through 14
holes Friday when play at the Honda LPGA Thailand was suspended for the day
due to inclement weather.
Webb had climbed to 10-under for the week, but will have to finish her last
four holes on Saturday.
There was a one-hour, 28 minute weather delay earlier Friday. After play was
halted for a second time, officials called play for the day. Fourteen players
will finish their second rounds starting Saturday at 7:30 a.m. local time.
Jiyai Shin fired a six-under 66 on the Pattaya Old Course at Siam Country Club
and was the clubhouse leader at eight-under-par 136.
Amy Yang was four-under through 14 holes. She stood alongside Shin at minus-
eight when play was stopped.
Suzann Pettersen carded a five-under 67 to end 36 holes at seven-under-par
137. Na Yeon Choi was also at minus-seven overall as she was three-under
through 14 holes.
Women's world No. 1 and defending champion Yani Tseng fired a seven-under 65
to jump into a share of seventh at six-under-par 138.
