PONTE VEDRA, Fla. -- 1996 Heisman Trophy winner Danny Wuerffel hosted the first annual Desire Cup Golf Tournament at TPC Sawgrass on Friday.
The tournament benefits Desire Street Ministries which Wuerffel is the executive director of.
This past summer, Danny was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome. He is still recovering, but doctors expect a full recovery.
