JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- All 90 players on the Jaguars roster have reported for training camp. The team's first practice will be Friday at 9:55 a.m.
Running back Maurice Jones-Drew has been cleared to practice following offseason foot surgery. The team will most likely ease him back into practice, and he figures to have a limited role in the four preseason games.
Wide receiver Justin Blackmon will start camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list after he had groin surgery last month. While he has been suspended for the first four games of the regular season due violating the league's policy on substance abuse, he is eligible to play in all of the preseason games.
Finally, rookie safety Johnathan Cyprien will also begin camp on the PUP list following a hamstring injury he suffered while working out at home in Miami. The team's second round pick in this year's draft doesn't expect to miss much practice time before returning to the field.
