JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Several local bat boys earned the right to work at the Southern League All Star game at the Baseball Grounds in Jacksonville.

Josh Culberson is 14 years old and in his first season as a Jacksonville Suns bat boy.

"It's pretty cool, I grew up wanting to be a bat boy. My brother was a bat boy," he said.

Culberson showed us some of his pre-game ritual, which included a tour inside the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

"We start usually by cleaning the players' cleats, then we go into the umpire locker room and mud the balls," he said.

Culberson was one of 8 bat boys selected to work the Southern League All-Star game.
