JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars' 2013 training camp begins July 25, and the first practice starts Friday, July 26 at 9:55 a.m. The initial eight sessions will be open to the public, including the scrimmage inside EverBank Field on Saturday, August 3.
Jaguar practices will take place on the Florida Blue Health & Wellness Practice Fields, adjacent to EverBank Field. The eight non-walk-through training camp practice sessions open for public viewing will occur over the first nine days with no admission charges.
"We are excited to announce our 2013 training camp schedule," Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley said. "We're looking forward to getting our fans out here for the first eight practices and allow them to get a first-hand view of the team. Our players are excited to get back on the field and continue the work we put in during the offseason."
The schedule throughout training camp is subject to change, but currently is as follows:
- Thursday, July 25 players report
- Friday, July 26 practice at 9:55 a.m.
- Saturday, July 27 practice at 9:55 a.m.
- Sunday, July 28 practice at 9:55 a.m.
- Monday, July 29 practice at 9:55 a.m.
- Tuesday, July 30 players day off - no practice
- Wednesday, July 31 practice at 9:55 a.m.
- Thursday, August 1 practice at 9:55 a.m.
- Friday, August 2 practice at 9:55 a.m.
- Saturday, August 3 scrimmage in stadium at 6:45 p.m. Last practice open to public
Restroom facilities and concessions will be available. Concession stands will include food and beverages as well as Jaguars merchandise, such as training camp-specific t-shirts and caps. Fans should park in lots J, M or N on the west side of the stadium free of charge. Still cameras are allowed.
Prohibited items are:
Video cameras and computers
Pets, except special services animals
Horns, whistles and other noisemakers
Knives, guns and any type of weapon or explosive
Coolers or containers including cans, cups and bottles
Audio or video recording, broadcasting, live streaming and blogging
Fans wishing to get autographs are asked to do so after each open practice session, outside the practice field fence as the players return to the locker room. It is not possible to schedule autograph or photo sessions due to the full training camp schedule. Special arrangements are not necessary for groups to visit training camp; they may watch open practice sessions from the bleachers.
Beginning Thursday, July 25, fans may call the Jaguars fans training camp hotline for a recorded message, which gives the daily practice schedule. The phone number is 904-633-6525. The message will be updated daily - and as any changes are made to the practice schedule - beginning July 25 through August 3.
