JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - It's as close to physically flying as you're ever going to get.
The Flyboard is making its Jacksonville debut this weekend at the annual Southeast US boat show.
Flyboard allows someone to essentially levitate over water using water thrusts from a jet ski.
One person operates the jet ski, the other lifts out of the water and into the air.
The trick is finding your balance to stay up straight.
"It's sort of like one of those boards you stand on with a ball when you practice at the gym with or something. There's a balance to it. And you're balancing on jets of water, and you're literally balancing your weight and you fly through the air. It's cool," said show organizer Jimmy Hill.
The activity won't be available for public use this weekend, but you will be able to see it in the marina at Metropolitan Park.

Hill said Flyboard is not designed for long distance travel, but more stationary enjoyment.
