ATLANTA, Fla. -- Downtown Atlanta is a sea of color for the NCAA men's Final Four.
But it's not just Louisville red, Michigan's maize and gold, Syracuse orange and Wichita State yellow.
Mike Maloney stood outside the Bracket Town fan fest wearing a Florida Gators baseball cap and Illinois windbreaker. It covered a 2012 Final Four T-shirt from New Orleans.
The Chicago resident said he comes to the tournament finale every year with friends. Most years, Maloney said, they don't even have tickets.
It's also an annual pilgrimage for Larry Park and several of his friends from Canada. These fans say they come for the fun, but don't think they don't have a rooting interest.
One of Park's friends said he'd be pulling for Michigan with his heart, but Syracuse with his money.
