Ribault has perhaps the most tradition-rich girls basketball team in the state. The Lady Trojans have won a bunch of state championships over the years. Last year, they went to the Final Four and many key players are back from that team including Sherranda Reddick and the Shepperd twins.
University Christian is also one of the best teams in the area year after year. The Lady Christians have the leading scorer on the First Coast in senior Shaneese Bailey who will play at Florida Atlantic University next year.
