NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. -- Glades Day School from south Florida will play Yulee High School on Friday and the game will be nationally televised on ESPNU
ESPNU reports the game will feature a matchup between two of the nation's top running backs and two of the best in Florida high school history.
Glades Day has the state's all-time leading rusher, Kelvin Taylor, a future Gator and the son of former Jaguars running back Fred Taylor who will be inducted into the Pride of the Jaguars on Sunday.
Yulee has running back Derrick Henry, who just took over second place in career rushing yards for the state of Florida. Derrick, who is FCN's reigning athlete of the week, announced Friday afternoon inside the Yulee High School gymnasium that he would be going to Alabama. This announcement was also carried live on ESPNU.
