Survival will become implanted into the brain of every fan at the London Olympics.

The song by Muse is the official song for the 2012 games. The song is to be played in all the sports events in all the venues during the entire Games, when athletes enter the stadium and the lead-up to the medal ceremonies.

It will be made available for broadcasters to use in their broadcasts from the Games, which open July 27.

"It's a huge honor," said Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, also known as actress Kate Hudson's boyfriend.

"I wrote it with the Games in mind as it expresses a sense of conviction and determination to win."
