JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Making the decision between SMG or Global Spectrum to run EverBank Field and the city's other entertainment venues has been deferred by the city.

The city met Thursday morning and decided to hold off on a decision because of SMG's recent appeal.

According to Greg Pease, Chief of the Procurement Division, the city is now reviewing SMG's appeal and don't know yet when they will have a hearing on it.

A special meeting could be called in the next two to three days to hear SMG's protest, Pease said.
