Sharks lose to Thunder 69-62, Vince Neil now part owner

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It was a night to forget on the field for the Jacksonville Sharks, but off the field, it was a momentous occasion as Motley Crue front man Vince Neil officially becomes partner in the team's ownership group. He could be introduced at a press conference in Jacksonville this week.

Neil is following the path of Kiss. The legendary rock band owns a new team based in Los Angeles, the L.A. Kiss. Neil hopes to own a team outright someday in his hometown of Las Vegas. Sharks managing partner Jeff Bouchy issues a statement earlier this week that if Vince Neil does own a team in Las Vegas, it will not due to the Sharks relocating there.

As for Saturday night's game, the Sharks fall to (2-4) with the loss. The Thunder earns it's first win in franchise history as this expansion team had an (0-5) record heading into the game.

The Sharks will be back at home this Saturday, May 3rd against the Arizona Rattlers.
