MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- Orlando Abreus, a member of the Jamaica Estates Volunteer Ambulance Corps on 9/11, was a first responder to the World Trade Center South Tower.
He was a part of the search and rescue efforts at Ground Zero when the South and North towers collapsed. He was treated for injuries sustained in his efforts, then released.

He will speak today at WaterMark Church at a service starting at 10:25 a.m. The service will be held at Tynes Elementary School, at 1550 Tynes Blvd, Middleburg.
