ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- On homecoming night, St. Johns Country Day could have just sported blue and white but the school added pink to the mix to support one of their own.
"They are not doing it just for fun or cause they are told to and they will say Miss. Holli we are doing this for you," said Holli Kennedy.
Staff member Kennedy is eight years cancer free but having the student body still support the cause means so much to her.
"Everyone here is so supportive and it's amazing," said Kennedy.
Kennedy isn't the only one who feels that way, 15 faculty members are alumni here including the head football coach.
"It was a life changing experience for me in terms of going to college and had a wonderful career but this has always been home to me," said Todd Zehner Head Football Coach.
Making it a memorable night for a St. Johns Country Day School community who fight, support and consider one another family.
