USA Today High School Sports is having a contest to determine the best high school football coach in the country. Two coaches from the First Coast are in the running.
In the first round of this contest, there are 8 coaches per state that have been nominated. The coach that receives the most votes in each state by noon on October 8th will advance to the regional round.
Voting in the regional round will begin at noon on October 9th, and it will end at noon on October 18th.
The eight regional winners will advance to the national round which begins at noon on October 21st and ends at noon on October 29th.
The athletic department of the winning coach will receive $2,000. The following cash prizes will be awarded to the athletic departments of the coaches that receive the 2nd most votes ($1,000), 3rd most votes ($500), 4th most votes ($250), and 5th most votes ($100).
