JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- There is a crime pattern emerging in the Baymeadows Road area, according to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office press release.
The release says that over the last three weeks there have been multiple home burglaries in the early morning hours while occupants are sleeping.
The suspects are gaining entrance to the apartments through the patio area. The suspects are cutting locked screen doors and opening the sliding doors, which occupants have been leaving unlocked, the release detailed.
Purses and electronics are allegedly taken during the burglary.
