JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A bomb squad team with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a suspicious suitcase at the Rosa Parks Transit Station downtown.
An investigation was launched when a deputy noticed an unattended suitcase at the transit station, according to Melissa Bujeda with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Surveillance video showed a man left the suitcase at the station around 8:30 a.m., Bujeda detailed.
After further investigation the suitcase was deemed safe and not a hazard, according to Bujeda.
Several roads surrounding the Rosa Parks Transit Station were closed during the investigation, which caused a slight back-up during the lunch hour.
All roads are now open.
