Flagler County Sheriff's Office
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- Last Wednesday and Thursday, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office received reports of five burglarized vehicles.
Only two of those five vehicles were locked, according to a release from FCSO Public Information Officer Lt. Bob Weber.
Sheriff James L. Manfre is using the car burglaries as an opportunity to remind citizens to secure their vehicles.
"It is so simple to make it harder for thieves to gain access to your vehicle: Remove valuables from site, roll up the windows and make sure the doors are locked," said Sheriff Manfre.
The burglaries happened in residential neighborhoods, Weber said.
