JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The First Coast News Facebook page is being spammed with a sexually explicit video.

A video claiming to be a new Kim Kardashian sex tape is the culprit. It appears to be an infected file displaying as a link to the video that when clicked on by Facebook users spams their friends/Likes with the offensive video.

The video appears in the comment sections of posts and is shown as being sent from multiple Facebook users.

First Coast News has reported this issue to Facebook and has temporarily enforced increased privacy settings to their account until this issue is resolved.

The following message was posted on the First Coast News  Facebook wall:

"FCN Facebook Followers, We are aware that the FCN Facebook page is being spammed with sexually explicit videos. We sincerely apologize for the offensive nature of these posts and are deleting them as fast as they arrive. We are aggressively investigating this spam and hope to have resolution quickly."
