Jacksonville, Fla.- The Florida highway patrol is on scene of a fatal crash on Jacksonville's northside on New Kings Road near the intersection with Dunn Avenue.

Emergency crews responded to the scene before 7 a.m. So far no further details have been released.

Traffic is being detoured around the area to US-301 to Otis Road.

Old Kings Road is not an option as an alternate route due to a bridge that is currently out, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
