(USA TODAY) -- Police have arrested the man suspected of killing three people last week
during a pre-dawn shooting on the Las Vegas Strip that ended with a fiery crash,
the Las Vegas Sun reports.
Ammar Harris, 26, was arrested at an associate's home in Los Angeles about
noon PT (3 p.m. ET), the Sun says,
citing sources.
He was charged with three counts of murder after police said fired gunshots
from a Range Rover into a Maserati about 4:30 a.m. on Feb. 21 as the vehicles
sped along up the main drag of casinos and hotels.
The driver of the Maserati, Kenneth Cherry Jr., an aspiring rapper from
Oakland, Calif., lost control and ran a red light, crashing into a taxi that
burst into flames. The cab driver and a passenger were killed.
