NEW YORK (AP) - The Dow enjoyed a rare triple-digit gain Friday, closing up 120 points to end the week at 14,001. Strong earnings from big U.S. companies led the push.

The S&P rose 13 points to close at 1,516 but still had a loss of 0.3 percent for the week -- its first weekly loss of the year.
The Nasdaq rose 30 to 3,161 but also closed slightly lower for the week.
